OUR HISTORY
Incorporated by Edwin R. Thompson in September, 1994, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Research Services (PMRS), Inc. has grown into a world-class supplier of pharmaceutical services. A privately held company still under Thompson’s ownership, we constantly strive to surpass industry standards. We invest in the long term, investing in the brightest minds, the most advanced technology, and a state-of-the-art facility. Our commitment to efficiency has enabled us to produce superior pharmaceuticals for the lowest possible cost.
When we undertook our first project in December, 1994, PMRS had six full-time employees. Now, over 550 projects later, PMRS employs approximately 30 full-time employees who support the manufacture of four NDA approved commercial products, one internationally approved commercial product, and numerous developmental and investigational drugs. We work tirelessly to keep our promises and our customers. If you have a drug that needs to be approved, it should be here.
What Drives US
Our Values
We conduct business based upon a rigid set of core values built on the highest levels of honesty, integrity, trust, and quality. These values are applicable to all levels of business and to every employee.
OUR COMMITMENT
PMRS is committed to the preservation of the environment and conservation of natural resources. Implementing an effective environmental management system enhances our company’s ability to achieve our long-term business objectives, while continuously improving our environmental quality.
We identify, evaluate, and monitor energy, water usage, recyclable materials, and hazardous materials. These variables are evaluated annually by the PMRS EMS/EHS committee. Our goal is to limit the amount of significant impact we have on the environment.
To achieve this objective, we have:
- Installed a new roofing system to cut energy cost by approximately 30%.
- Installed Nitrogen gas generators as a test program for moving toward Hydrogen power
- Made improvements to our water system to save ~250,000 gallons annually
- Implemented new equipment, such as RRLC and NIR, which use less energy and reduce hazardous waste
